Arthritis is an inflammatory joint disorder which involves inflammation of one or more joints. It is frequently accompanied by joint pain. Symptoms of arthritis include pain, joint stiffness, swelling, redness, and warmth—which results in limited joint movement. Tenderness of the inflamed joint can be present.
